During tawaf and sa’i, remember Allah, recite Qur’an and make sincere personal dua. A printed list can help, but it should support your worship—not make you anxious, block movement or cause you to read words without understanding.

Here I am, O Allah. You have no partner. All praise, blessing and sovereignty belong to You.
اے اللہ! میں حاضر ہوں۔ تیرا کوئی شریک نہیں۔ تمام تعریف، نعمت اور بادشاہی تیرے ہی لیے ہے۔
Repeat after entering Ihram until you begin Tawaf.

Bismillah, was-salatu was-salamu ‘ala Rasulillah. Allahumma-ftah li abwaba rahmatik.
In Allah’s name. Peace and blessings upon Allah’s Messenger. O Allah, open for me the gates of Your mercy.
اللہ کے نام سے۔ اللہ کے رسول ﷺ پر درود و سلام۔ اے اللہ! میرے لیے اپنی رحمت کے دروازے کھول دے۔

Ask Allah for acceptance, forgiveness, guidance and every lawful need in words you understand.
کوئی مخصوص مسنون دعا ثابت نہیں۔ اللہ کی حمد کریں، درود پڑھیں اور اپنی حاجات مانگیں۔
Praise Allah, send Salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ and make sincere personal dua.
Reference / note: There is no authentic fixed Sunnah dua specifically for first seeing the Ka‘bah. Raising the hands is optional.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Bismillah, Allahu Akbar.
In Allah’s name; Allah is the Greatest.
اللہ کے نام سے؛ اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے۔
Say this when aligned with the Black Stone at the start of each circuit.

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina ‘adhaban-nar.
Our Lord, grant us good in this world and the Hereafter, and protect us from the Fire.
اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں دنیا اور آخرت میں بھلائی عطا فرما اور آگ کے عذاب سے بچا۔

Wattakhidhu min maqami Ibrahima musalla.
Take the standing place of Ibrahim as a place of prayer.
مقامِ ابراہیم کو نماز کی جگہ بناؤ۔
After Tawaf, pray two rak‘ahs behind Maqam Ibrahim if practical, or elsewhere in the mosque without obstructing people.

إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ
Innas-Safa wal-Marwata min sha‘a’irillah. Abda’u bima bada’Allahu bih.
Safa and Marwah are among Allah’s symbols. I begin with what Allah began with.
بے شک صفا اور مروہ اللہ کی نشانیوں میں سے ہیں۔ میں وہاں سے شروع کرتا ہوں جہاں سے اللہ نے شروع کیا۔

Remembrance Facing the Qiblah
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ، أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ
La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd, wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadir. La ilaha illallahu wahdah, anjaza wa‘dah, wa nasara ‘abdah, wa hazamal-ahzaba wahdah.
None is worthy of worship but Allah alone. His are dominion and praise. He fulfilled His promise, helped His servant and defeated the confederates alone.
اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے۔ بادشاہی اور تعریف اسی کے لیے ہے۔ اس نے وعدہ پورا کیا اور اپنے بندے کی مدد کی۔
Say Allahu Akbar three times, recite this, make personal dua, and repeat the pattern three times.

Drinking Zamzam

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا وَاسِعًا، وَشِفَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ
Allahumma inni as’aluka ‘ilman nafi‘an, wa rizqan wasi‘an, wa shifa’an min kulli da’.
O Allah, grant me beneficial knowledge, abundant provision and healing from every illness.
اے اللہ! مجھے نفع دینے والا علم، کشادہ رزق اور ہر بیماری سے شفا عطا فرما۔
Say Bismillah, drink respectfully and ask for any lawful need.

During Sa‘i
Personal Dua During Sa‘i
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْأَعَزُّ الْأَكْرَمُ
Rabbighfir warham, innaka antal-a‘azzul-akram.
My Lord, forgive and have mercy; You are the Mightiest, the Most Generous.
اے میرے رب! بخش دے اور رحم فرما، بے شک تو سب سے غالب اور سب سے زیادہ کرم والا ہے۔
Recite this or make any sincere personal dua; there is no required fixed formula.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
Alhamdulillah.
All praise belongs to Allah.
تمام تعریفیں اللہ کے لیے ہیں۔
After shaving or shortening the hair, thank Allah, then ask for acceptance, forgiveness and guidance.
Reference / note: Halq or Taqsir completes Umrah and releases the pilgrim from Ihram. There is no fixed completion formula.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ
Allahumma inni as’aluka min fadlik.
O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty.
اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے تیرے فضل کا سوال کرتا ہوں۔

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ، وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ
Subhanalladhi sakhkhara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahu muqrinin, wa inna ila Rabbina lamunqalibun.
Glory to Him who subjected this to us, and surely to our Lord we will return.
پاک ہے وہ ذات جس نے اسے ہمارے قابو میں دیا، اور ہمیں اپنے رب کی طرف لوٹنا ہے۔

My Lord, have mercy upon them as they raised me when I was small.

اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
Allahummak-fini bihalalika ‘an haramika, wa aghnini bifadlika ‘amman siwak.
O Allah, suffice me with what You made lawful instead of what You made unlawful, and enrich me by Your bounty beyond need of anyone else.
اے اللہ! اپنے حلال کے ذریعے مجھے حرام سے بچا اور اپنے فضل سے مجھے دوسروں سے بے نیاز کر دے۔
Ask for lawful provision, independence from what is forbidden and ease in every difficulty.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma‘asmihi shay’un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama’i wa Huwas-Sami‘ul-‘Alim.
In Allah’s name, with whose name nothing on earth or in heaven can cause harm; He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
اللہ کے نام سے، جس کے نام کے ساتھ زمین و آسمان میں کوئی چیز نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکتی، اور وہ خوب سننے اور جاننے والا ہے۔
Recite morning and evening and whenever seeking Allah’s protection.

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Rabbana la tuzigh qulubana ba‘da idh hadaytana wa hab lana min ladunka rahmah, innaka antal-Wahhab.
Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself.
اے ہمارے رب! ہدایت کے بعد ہمارے دل ٹیڑھے نہ کرنا اور اپنے پاس سے رحمت عطا فرما۔

Umrah dua FAQs
Is there a different compulsory dua for each tawaf round?
No. A pilgrim may make dhikr, recite Qur’an and ask Allah for any lawful good during tawaf. Assigning a compulsory special dua to every numbered round is not required.
Can I make dua in English or my own language during Umrah?
Yes. You may ask Allah sincerely in a language you understand. Preserve established Arabic remembrances where you can, while personal supplication may be made in your own language.
When should I stop reciting the talbiyah during Umrah?
Continue the talbiyah after entering ihram and stop when beginning tawaf. Men recite audibly without disturbing people; women recite quietly.
What should I say when aligned with the Black Stone?
Say “Allahu Akbar.” If you cannot approach safely, gesture toward it and continue; touching or kissing it is not required for tawaf.
What dua is recited between the Yemeni Corner and Black Stone?
Recite “Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina ‘adhaban-nar,” asking Allah for good in this life and the Hereafter and protection from the Fire.
Is there a fixed dua for drinking Zamzam?
There is no single compulsory Zamzam dua. Say Bismillah, drink respectfully and ask Allah for beneficial knowledge, provision, healing and any lawful need.
What if I cannot memorize the Arabic duas?
Learn the short key phrases first and keep a readable guide available. Do not become so focused on a phone that you collide with people or lose concentration. Allah knows your sincere personal prayer.
