You do not need a different fixed dua for every tawaf round
During tawaf and sa’i, remember Allah, recite Qur’an and make sincere personal dua. A printed list can help, but it should support your worship—not make you anxious, block movement or cause you to read words without understanding.

At the miqat
Entering Umrah
لَبَّيْكَ عُمْرَةً
Labbayka ‘Umrah.
Here I am for Umrah.
After preparing for ihram and before crossing the applicable miqat. Intention is in the heart; this short phrase expresses the rite being entered.
Remember: Begin the talbiyah after entering ihram.
Travel toward Makkah
The Talbiyah
لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ
Labbayka Allahumma labbayk. Labbayka la sharika laka labbayk. Innal-hamda wan-ni‘mata laka wal-mulk, la sharika lak.
Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am; You have no partner. Truly all praise, blessing and sovereignty belong to You. You have no partner.
Repeat after entering ihram until you begin tawaf.
Remember: Men recite audibly without disturbing others; women recite quietly.
Entering Al-Masjid Al-Haram
Dua for entering a mosque
اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
Allahumma-ftah li abwaba rahmatik.
O Allah, open for me the gates of Your mercy.
Enter with the right foot and use the established general supplication for entering a mosque.
Remember: Move calmly and follow current entrances and crowd directions.
Beginning each tawaf round
At the Black Stone alignment
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Allahu Akbar.
Allah is the Greatest.
Say this when aligned with the Black Stone at the start and at each completed circuit.
Remember: Gesture from a distance when necessary. Never push or harm anyone to approach.
During tawaf
Between the Yemeni Corner and Black Stone
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina ‘adhaban-nar.
Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Recite this Qur’anic supplication on this part of the circuit.
Remember: Qur’an 2:201. During the rest of tawaf, make dhikr and personal dua.
Approaching Safa
Verse of Safa and Marwah
إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ
Innas-Safa wal-Marwata min sha‘a’irillah.
Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah.
Recite when approaching Safa to begin sa’i.
Remember: Qur’an 2:158. Then say: “Abda’u bima bada’Allahu bih” — I begin with what Allah began with.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ، أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ
La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd, wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadir. La ilaha illallahu wahdah, anjaza wa‘dah, wa nasara ‘abdah, wa hazamal-ahzaba wahdah.
None has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and all praise, and He has power over everything. Allah alone fulfilled His promise, supported His servant and defeated the confederates alone.
At Safa, face the qiblah as practical, praise Allah, raise your hands and recite. Repeat at Marwah.
Remember: Recite the remembrance, make personal dua, and repeat this pattern three times, with supplication between the remembrances.
After tawaf or when drinking Zamzam

Bismillah.
In the name of Allah.
Say Bismillah, drink respectfully and ask Allah sincerely.
Remember: There is no single compulsory Zamzam formula. Ask for beneficial knowledge, wholesome provision, healing and your personal needs.

Prepare your own dua list before Umrah
Write short prompts rather than long scripts. Ask with humility, hope and attention—in Arabic or a language you understand.

Ask Allah to forgive known and unknown sins, accept repentance and help you leave harmful habits.

Umrah dua FAQs
Is there a different compulsory dua for each tawaf round?
No. A pilgrim may make dhikr, recite Qur’an and ask Allah for any lawful good during tawaf. Assigning a compulsory special dua to every numbered round is not required.
Can I make dua in English or my own language during Umrah?
Yes. You may ask Allah sincerely in a language you understand. Preserve established Arabic remembrances where you can, while personal supplication may be made in your own language.
When should I stop reciting the talbiyah during Umrah?
Continue the talbiyah after entering ihram and stop when beginning tawaf. Men recite audibly without disturbing people; women recite quietly.
What should I say when aligned with the Black Stone?
Say “Allahu Akbar.” If you cannot approach safely, gesture toward it and continue; touching or kissing it is not required for tawaf.
What dua is recited between the Yemeni Corner and Black Stone?
Recite “Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina ‘adhaban-nar,” asking Allah for good in this life and the Hereafter and protection from the Fire.
Is there a fixed dua for drinking Zamzam?
There is no single compulsory Zamzam dua. Say Bismillah, drink respectfully and ask Allah for beneficial knowledge, provision, healing and any lawful need.
What if I cannot memorize the Arabic duas?
Learn the short key phrases first and keep a readable guide available. Do not become so focused on a phone that you collide with people or lose concentration. Allah knows your sincere personal prayer.
